arno & third
At the intersection of the River Arno & the 3rd street from the Duomo is where you would find me.
The place where I sat with journal in hand, reflecting on my life. The place where I saw Italians and tourists alike wandering the streets with an unparalleled sense of wonder. The place where I simultaneously felt the most joy and peace.
The place that shaped me to be me.
Telling my story
At nearly 9 years old I received my first point-and-shoot camera. I don’t think my parents knew that the baby-blue device I unwrapped Christmas morning would spark a long-lasting passion within me. It was around this time that I also dreamed of becoming a magazine editor, ya know the kind with one of those snazzy offices in upstate New York full of inspiring magazine clippings scattered across the walls and notepads lined with my ingenious headline ideas. Well, it’s not that I have given up on that goal, but until I figure out the logistics of a NYC lifestyle (subways, apartment-hunting, laundromats, etc.) I will be sharing my story here, using words & photos to share my life with you.
