2 of the Easiest Crock-pot Recipes EVER
Mouthwatering pull-apart chicken
I am not one for making hard recipes. Count me out if there are too many ingredients or steps. I also love chicken - I mean, if it was socially acceptable (and wasn’t horrible for me) I would eat Chick-fil-a daily. But, in attempt to cook more frequently I tried out this recipe and man it’s easy.
Here’s all you need:
Crock-pot
2-3 chicken breasts
1 can of beer (12 oz or more because who doesn’t like more?)
1 packet of onion soup
1 stick of butter cut into cubes
What to do:
Throw it all together in the Crock-pot & cook over low heat for like 7 hours. Take the chicken out and shred with a knife then serve over bread/buns. Yup, that’s it.
So there ya have it, the easiest chicken recipe in the world! Add extra liquid onto your bread/chicken and you will be doing it right.
Enjoy!
The absolute best & easiest honey garlic meatballs
Before we start, I do need to note that I made a mistake & totally forgot to capture a photo of these beauties, but I guess that’s a good indication of how quickly we scarfed down these delicious meatballs.
Peter and I got a Crock-pot yesterday on a whim and we are already obsessed!! Once we brought that cutie home, we immediately hit to Google in search of easy recipes, which brought us to these meatballs from Family Fresh Meals.
The flavor of these meatballs is INSANE. If you are anything like me and always reach for the bbq meatballs at any holiday party, these will be your best friend! With literally only a handful of ingredients that you already have, you’ll spend 2 minutes prepping and the next few hours enjoying the aromas that fill your house.
The newest addition to our kitchen!! (Photo via Amazon)
What you’ll need:
1 bag of frozen meatballs
1/4 cup brown sugar
⅓ cup honey
½ cup ketchup
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. garlic (minced)
What to do:
In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, honey, ketchup, soy sauce and garlic in a bowl.
Toss the meatballs in the crock-pot then cover with liquid mixture, mixing around to make sure it’s covering all the meat.
Cook on low for 4 hours.
If I’m being honest, we started cooking at about 4 PM and left it to cook on low until 6 PM, when we started getting hungry and wanted to expedite the process. So, we cranked it up to high then went for a run, and an hour later devoured these babies.
Let me know if you try any of these or have any other go-to recipes!
Cheers!
